Please note:
if you have a pre-existing adobe installation on your computer (Acrobat, Illustrator, etc.) please follow steps 1 – 10

Begin at step 10
- Go To https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1nbjNqPN1n5bo269uUWkA67RTlcaG3gCv?usp=sharing
- Download and unzip the cleaner tool
- Open the cleaner tool (.dmg)
- Open the cleaner tool (.app)
- Click ‘Open’
- Type in your device passcode (if required)
- Accept the T&C’s
- Click ‘Clean All’ and follow the prompts (if required)
- Click ‘Quit’
- Go To https://apps.edustar.vic.edu.au/chat
- Login using your DET ID and EduPass Password
- Type in the utterance ‘Can I get an Adobe license please?’ and click the send button (or press enter)
- Wait One Hour
- Go to https://www.adobe.com/au/
- Click on Sign In
- In the email address box write in firstname.lastname@education.vic.gov.au
- In the sign in box use your DET ID for the User ID and your eduPass Password for your Password
- Click ‘Desktop Apps’
- Click ‘Download’ for the app you want to install
(If it shows ‘Buy Now’ ensure you have waited one hour for it to change to ‘Download’) - If Adobe asks for skill level or role respond with the relevant details and “Beginner” click next it should begin to install
- If you get a message similar to the image shown below click ‘Allow’
- You should see a window similar to the below image
- if not launch the <application>_installer.dmg in your downloads folder
- Run the installer
- The app should now work as desired
- Repeat steps 19-24 for all desired applications
- If Adobe launches the Creative Cloud installer (which will appear in the ribbon at the top of your screen)
- You may need to login again Use your firstname.lastname@education.vic.gov.au
- Fill out the sign in box again
- You should now be able to install apps from Creative Cloud
- If you get an error on this page along the lines of “You do not have access to manage apps please contact your IT Administrator” please bring the affected device to the IT Office
